How to make Oreo truffles
One of my favorite gifts I received this year for Christmas was from a good friend of mine who made me her infamous “tubby cakes.” Besides their deliciousness, I was thankful for the time and effort that went into making them. Homemade gifts can sometimes be the best present. So, for this Valentines Day why not try making a homemade gift for those people that are closest to you.
I first stumbled upon these little delightful treats on Christmas Eve. My brother’s friend came over for our traditional “Yankee Swap” carrying a plate of Oreo truffles. Now, if you knew this friend of my brother’s you too would agree that he does not appear to be the next Bobby Flay. However, he assured me that they were not hard to make and he guaranteed I would enjoy every bite. After taking my first bite, I had to agree with him. They are very easy to make and very easy to eat a lot of! Don’t believe me? Try it out for Valentine’s day and you may wind up being the next Rachael Ray.
